Telemedicon 2015 - “The AIIMS RRC Workshop”

AIIMS, Telemedicine Department organized a Northern Regional workshop inviting all government medical colleges/Institutions/Universities of the region having NKN bandwidth in place for sensitization and awareness about the National Medical College Network Project of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. The workshop was held on 13th -14th, March 2015 at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi which has been designated as the Northern Regional Resource Center for National Medical College Network Project.
A brief about the objectives of CollabDDS was given by Dr. OP Kharbanda, Prof. and Head, Department of Orthodontics, AIIMS, New Delhi followed by the Relevance of CollabDDS in Radiological applications was given by by Prof. Raju Sharma, Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis, AlIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Savita Dawar, Senior Technical Director and Head, CollabCAD, NIC, New Delhi talked about the Pilot implementation and Future scope of CollabDDS followed by the demo of the features of CollabDDS by Dr. Deva Senathipathy Kandasamy, Assistant Professor, Department of Radio Diagnosis, AIIMS, New Delhi.
